Informator is not only a powerful preview tool but also an editor
Informator offers more preview possibilities than any other preview application. And all this happen directly in the Finder. No need to switch.

Image Viewer
The Image viewer is the most important viewer in Informator. It will always try to show you the preview that loads up fastest. But you have also the possibility to view the original and zoom into it.
If an image contains no preview, you can create one with the preview button on the left upper corner.
A very interesting feature is the image information pop up. It allows you to take a quick deeper look into an image: It offers a zoom-area of the current image and some measurement tools.

Movie player
Movies will be shown within the integrated Quicktime player. Quicktime-movies, Flashs or sounds can be played. No need, to open the Quicktime Player application.

Text/RTF Editor
Informator also contains a small text editor
Text and .rtf files can be edited and saved. A full text search makes this editor a real alternative to text processors for quick edits.

Hex Viewer
The Informator Hex Viewer is more than a simple viewer. It offers everything you need for a quick observation of files. The immediately view of lot of values at a glance like selections in byte, ushort, short, ulong or long representation. You can mark positions and use the hex or the ascii search engine.

Ascii viewer
Files could be viewed as pure Ascii data, too.This could be useful, if you want to take a quick look at the source of a text based file format like html, xml or even postscript. The Ascii viewer offers full text search, too.
