Cataloging
First of all your media files have to find its way into the MediaMaid™ database. The cataloging settings are extensively customizable: file types, name filter, recursive cataloging, updating existing files, original copying and preview creation options. MediaMaid™ creates preview for all important image formats including psd (photoshop), jpg, tiff, pict, bmp, pdf etc. as well as for movie like moov, swf (flash) etc.

Data Exchange
Data exchange is an important point for a media asset management solution and we have added a lot of possibilities to share your image data. Every exchange will be controlled from the Import/Export Center, which gives you a good control even if you don't want to exchange the current viewed images but use the in-built publishing settings.

Export is possible for MediaMaid's own format and all formats that FileMaker™ Pro supports: FileMaker® Pro, XML, ODBC, Basic, WKS, DIF, DBS, Sylk or just text.

The fastest and easiest way to share your images over the web, is the FileMaker® web companion. MediaMaid™ provides comfortable synchronization functions to keep your web-database up to date.

Sync with local or remote* FileMaker® databases
To ease synchronization with your own local FileMaker® Pro databases, we have added an own area in the Import/Export Center. Here you can define your favorite databases, so loacal data synchronization is just a single click.

Publish as Flash
Create a flash compatible slideshow with your images. Including web site and swf file or Flash projector - cross platform. With just one click.

Burn CDs
Burn a selection of images with just one click. MediaMaid™ FM work together with Roxio™ Toast® by default, but you can define your own scripts for your favorite burn application.
