MediaMaid™ has it all: The hierarchical folder system like know from the Mac Finder and the Smart Albums like known from iPhoto

Hierarchical Categories
This category system makes organization of your photos simple. The functionality is similar to the Finder's. You can add items to a category, drag items from one category to another or delete a whole category at once. With one difference: May be you want a specific item to be in the job folder and in the client folder, too. No problem. Items can stay in different categories at the same time.

Smart Categories
In MediaMaid™, you can find your favorite photos even more easily when you take advantage of a new feature called "Smart Categories".
Simply add criteria, such as photos from a specific date to create a new album. In a flash, you'll have a new Smart Category filled with photos. In fact, Smart Categories are simply categories, that execute a search, but the result is a dynamic Library of photos and MediaMaid™ will automatically add new images to the category that meet the criteria you've indicated.

Smarter
Naturally the Smart Categories in MediaMaid™ are smarter than in iPhoto: You can enter search criteria for over 50 different fields including path, IPTC and user defined fields.

Color Labels
Very helpful for a good organized database are the color labels of MediaMaid™. These labels work like the approved Finder labels and can of course be taken over from the Finder during cataloging.
In addition, you can use color labels as criteria in search processes and in Smart Categories.

Publish settings
The publish settings look like a variation of color labels, but they provide an easy and powerful way, to choose images or categories for publishing and exporting in the Import/Export Center. Publish settings can be used as criteria in search processes and in Smart Categories as well as color labels.
