Customizable quick search
The Quicksearch is much more than its name promises. It can search in up to 15 of the most important fields and understand operators like "+" or "-" etc.

FM or FileMaker Search
The FM search is what is sounds like. It offers full access to FileMaker alike search functions including "And" or "Or" search, operators like "=" or "==" and the possibility to broaden or constrain the current view. Layouts for this kind of search are interchangeable and of course fully customizable*.

Smart categories
A very powerful feature are the customizable smart categories like known in iPhoto. But other than in iPhoto, smart categories in MediaMaid™ allows a search in over 40 different fields including IPTC and EXIF meta data with FileMaker® Pro operators like and, or , =, ==, >, < , …(range) etc. See Categories for more info.

Date search pop up
You can easily search for short or modification dates or ranges of dates with these calendar pop ups.

Index search menu
The index search offers you dialogs with available data e.g. all already cataloged file formats.

Equal search menu
Search for e.g. the same creation date(S) as the selected record(s).

Predefined data search menu
The date search menu offers often used date search processes like: shot today, shot yesterday, shot last week, etc.

Color label search menu
Search for color labels ( Finder compatible)

Publish state search menu
Find your publishable files with ease.

Storable field search
The storable field search like known from other media asset management applications like cumulus makes the search functions complete.
